World War Heroes is a World War II-themed first-person shooter (FPS) video game released in 2018 and developed by Azur Interactive Games. It is one of the most popular online multiplayer games in the world. The game enables players to play together in team battles across several iconic WW2 battlegrounds. Players can choose from a variety of weapons, vehicles and characters.
In World War Heroes, players join to fight on either the Allied or Axis side during the Second World War. Battles take place on five classic maps that recreate some of the best-known locations from the war. These battlefields include Wake Island, Iwo Jima, Stalingrad, Monte Cassino and Ardennes Forest. Each map has an assigned mode where players complete objectives such as capturing flags, destroying tanks, and killing enemies.
Players can choose from seven different classes for their character: the Assault, Recon, Sniper, Medic, Engineer, Support, and Tanker classes. Each class has unique attributes and abilities. For example, the Assault class is ideal for close combat and has more firepower than other classes. The Recon class, on the other hand, is better suited for reconnaissance and scouting, while the Sniper class specializes in long-range combat. The Medic provides healing and support, the Engineer repairs and maintains equipment like tanks, and the Support class provides extra firepower with special weapons like rocket launchers. Lastly, the Tanker class specializes in using heavy armored vehicles.
